The Mirror Analogy

Neurofeedback training uses your brain's own resources — nothing is imposed and there is no artificial stimulation. It relies on your Central Nervous System's (CNS) inherent intelligence to make changes where it feels it needs to. It is not directing your brain in any way, just providing it with more real-time information, similar to when we look in a mirror and assess ourselves visually. Just as you use a mirror to adjust your posture, neurofeedback acts like a mirror for the brain, and your CNS makes changes based on what it has learned from this new information.

How it Benefits You

✦‍ ‍Enhances resilience and flexibility

✦‍ ‍Improves ability to bounce back from stress

✦‍ ‍Increases capacity to deal with changes

✦‍ ‍Improves self-organization and clarity

✦‍ ‍Higher degrees of self-control and tolerance

Get Comfortable

Sit back in a comfortable chair. We place sensors on your scalp and ears to track and record your brain activity.

Listen to Music

You simply listen to music or watch a movie while the system monitors the electrical activity in your brain.

Brain Learns

Brief pauses in the audio act as feedback, mirroring back information to your brain inviting it to self-correct and optimize its function.

Curious about neurofeedback?

In this conversation, neurotherapist Jennifer Sprague explains how neurofeedback helps the brain improve self-regulation, resilience, focus, and emotional wellbeing. Learn how this non-invasive approach is being used to support anxiety, ADHD, trauma recovery, performance, and overall brain health.

Is it Safe?

Yes, neurofeedback training is completely non-invasive and safe and has been used clinically for over 30 years. Health Canada has determined that NeurOptimal® is a Consumer Product, and the FDA has determined it to be a General Wellness Device.
